With an important mission to educate students and the public about the dangers of prejudice, hatred and apathy in society, Holocaust Museum Houston opened its doors in March of 1996. While the original building served its purpose well, over time, the Museum became aware that the building’s tight configuration was not conducive to how they wanted to showcase their work and related exhibits. ThereforeHolocaust Museum Houston set up a Capital Campaign to raise $49.4 million dollars to fund a dramatic expansion of the Museum’s physical space.
This new space will create an engaging collection of Museum experiences to share Survivor stories and Holocaust education for generations to come. In order to help facilitate this goal, VISION created an informative and impactful video to be shared with potential capital campaign supporters to showcase the Museum’s vision for the new space and to enlist their financial support to help build the Museum’s new facility.
The Capital Campaign Video was designed to showcase the theme,“Remembering our Past, Building our Future”. With the use of emotionally charged imagery, key messages, video footage and animation, the video invites audiences to be a part of Holocaust Museum Houston’s important mission while building excitement for the new building and inspiring investment to help with the expansion.
3D Animation and Motion Graphics:
Using custom 3D animation and effects to bring architectural renders and building models to life, the video takes the viewer inside the new facility to look around and get a true flavor of what the enlarged Museum will offer. Sound design and custom effects were utilized to guide the viewer on the visual journey through the new museum seamlessly.
VISION is proud to be a part of this important project and to produce this video for Holocaust Museum Houston’s Capital Campaign to help ensure that the legacy of the Holocaust survivors lives ON.
